Hyrynsalmi Down Anorak, poppy red

Due to production challenges some of this winter’s down jackets have thinner layer of down than we are used to. To avoid environmental waste, we hope that every usable piece of clothing finds its owner. For that reason, we wanted to sell them anyway, obviously before doing so we adjusted the price to match the final product. Because the amount of the down filling in the jacket is smaller than it is supposed to, the filling might not be evenly placed in each panel. However, the difference should be less notable after using the jacket for a while. You should shake the jacket up every once in a while, because that helps the air to get in between the down and feathers, which gives the down filling its natural volume.

To avoid confusion, we decided to give these jackets a new name, and Hyrynsalmi down anorak was created. Based to our classic anorak Hyrynsalmi is a good company for winter sports, especially for its light down filling. The anorak has a matte, water repellent shell, and it has a front zipper, hood with elastic drawcord and a generous front pocket. There are also zippers on both sides of the hem. The anorak has an embroidered R logo on the left sleeve. The model is suitable for both men and women.

Made from RDS down. 90% down, 10% feather. We only use Responsible Down Standard certified down and feathers in our down jackets. RDS is an international and independent down production control organization. RDS down is a by-product of food production, downs and feathers have not been plucked from live birds and forced feeding of birds is prohibited. The RDS monitors that birds are treated humanely.
